Singapore: Indian women secured a place in the main draw of the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup at the OCBC Square here on Thursday, while it was the end of the road for the Indian men.
The Indian eves defeated Hong Kong (20-13) in the morning and outplayed Indonesia 18-12 in the evening.
The Indian team consisting of Pushpa Senthil Kumar, Kavya Singla and Keralites Aneesha Cleetus and Sreekala R will now take on Australia and New Zealand in Pool D. Kavya suffered a knee injury in the match against Hong Kong and did not take the field against Indonesia.
